For more than 15 years, Eric Lim YK has worked within Singapore’s residential interior and renovation industry.
His experience spans project management, site coordination, material selection, carpentry production, installation, and quality control.
Through years of solving real problems on real sites, Eric saw that good design alone was not enough. Someone needed to connect the designer’s vision with suitable materials, accurate production, careful installation, and the realities of each home.
Experience That Began
on the Ground
Eric’s understanding of carpentry was built through years of working with homeowners, interior designers, suppliers, manufacturers, installers, and site teams.
He understands the pressure carried by a single project person who may need to manage design details, homeowners, suppliers, schedules, site problems, installation, and final quality at the same time.
In many companies, the materials and systems are already decided. Even when a project manager or designer believes a better material would benefit the homeowner, they may have little say in what can be proposed.
Eric saw how these limits affected the finished home. A beautiful design could still be weakened by unsuitable materials, unclear production details, poor coordination, or problems discovered too late on site.
These experiences shaped the way he believes carpentry projects should be handled.
